1. Introduction
Welcome to Evide. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Evide mobile application and website operated by Evide (“we”, “our”, “us”). By downloading, accessing, or using Evide, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. The service
Evide is a technology platform that connects customers with independent service providers in Kerala, India. Evide does not directly perform the services booked through the app and is not responsible for the quality, timing, pricing, or outcome of work performed by providers.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Evide. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
4. Accounts
- You must provide accurate and complete information when registering
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- You must keep your mobile device secure and notify us of any unauthorized use
- Login is verified via OTP sent to your registered mobile number
5. Bookings and payments
- Booking requests are subject to provider availability and acceptance
- Service scope, pricing, and timing may be confirmed directly with the provider
- Any payment arrangements are between you and the service provider unless otherwise stated in the app
- Cancellations and rescheduling should follow the process shown in the app or agreed with the provider
6. User conduct
You agree not to:
- Use Evide for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes
- Harass, threaten, or discriminate against providers or other users
- Submit false information or impersonate another person
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or misuse the platform
- Use automated tools to scrape or access the service without permission
7. Provider relationship
Service providers listed on Evide are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Evide. Evide does not guarantee the availability, qualifications, or conduct of any provider. Disputes regarding service delivery should first be addressed with the provider. We may assist with support where reasonably possible.
8. Intellectual property
All content, branding, software, and design elements of Evide are owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
9. Privacy
Your use of Evide is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
Evide is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Evide and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform or services booked through it.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Evide if you violate these Terms or if required by law. You may request account deletion at any time by following the instructions on our Delete Account page.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of Evide after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kerala, India.
